Fingers like impenetrable walls caressing her beautiful cheek.
Please Breathe.
As she slumbers let your healing course through her.
With tears streaming down my face I plead,
Show her you are always there.

I have wanted to comment on this picture for quite a while now.
The picture is so intensely moving. But your words moved me to tears. At first I wondered if you knew this small miracle. Then, the more I thought about it the more overwhlemed I was because I know that babies are born like this, and even smaller everyday.
The miracle of creation. The miracle of life. The miracle of love.
