We were meant to live

We were meant to live for so much more
Have we lost ourselves?
We were meant to live
We were meant to live

November 7th
Stafford Centre
Switchfoot Concert

The concert rocked, but the most memorable thing for me was the ending of Meant to Live.
Jon pointed the microphone out on the crowd...the band got quiet..and a couple thousand people sang "We were meant to live" over and over.....
I closed my eyes and listened.

I talked to God and said "I know it was supposed to be different...."
He said: "Dont worry, I'll take care of it soon"

I was there too! That was an amazing concert! I know God was there and working through those bands as they ministered to a pretty diverse audience.

It's a small world, I bet we saw each other...
If you heard someone shout "I LOVE YOU" when Eisley came up...that guy was like 1 row back from us.

She totally brushed him off too...hilarious!

Hey! Don't make fun of people who love Eisley! Granted, it was rather hilarious how she brushed him off like that. I wonder if that guy knew that Stacy (the keyboard player he professed his love for) is only 16 years old....

BTW, I got to talk to the eldest daughter (Chauntelle - 23 years old) in the lobby for a bit after their set was over. I was rather excited, but wasn't nervous in talking to her. Not that she even remembers my face or the conversation today, but I do....

We did hear that guy, and the comment my husband made was that if he was more outgoing, he would've shouted back "dude, she's not legal!" And there's nothing but love for Eisley around here...just not that kind!

When Jon Foreman came down into the audience and stood for a little bit - he was directly in front of me. I was pretty excited because I have been a Switchfoot fan since the days of Chin. It was just cool because it felt like he was really enjoying being there.

OK, Adam. I am going to make fun of you, not because you love Eisley, but because...well, are you sure you were talking to Chauntelle in the lobby? Because, when I asked you which one she was, you pointed directly to one girl and said, "the one on the far right." When that girl was talking she pointed to the far left and said something about her sister Chauntelle. I was going to just let it go, but since you brought it up...!

Tmproff...

What a small world...I was there with ber, we were on the second row! Thanks to ber's expert fan allegiance...I don't think there were many seats that were better than the one's we had.

I love how God speaks to us through all kinds of circumstances, environments, music, people, you name it He uses it. I love that!

HAH!

Ruth. You got me. I had my ladies confused....

Chauntelle is the preference, except last pictures I saw she had darker hair.

I have been exposed as not knowing quite everything all the time, only most things....

*shame*
